Accommodations on Water Island mostly consist of rental villas, resorts and cottages.The villas are usually equipped with just about everything you will need, including linens, beach towels, and a fully stocked kitchen. Many villas also feature a swimming pool, and a golf cart or car for island transportation.
Not all villas offer air conditioning, but it is not always necessary because of the cool trade winds that blow through the islands. Villa rental companies can help you choose which vacation home will meet your needs. Keep in mind that the Virgin Islands experience high season from December through May, and making reservations well in advance is strongly recommended. The island does have a small grocery store, but if you are looking for something in particular, it's a good idea to stock up on St. Thomas before heading over to Water Island by boat.
