It poured for several minutes earlier this morning. At 9:00 AM the skies are clear and sunny and we are heading to the low 80s.

Innovative, our cable and phone provider filed for bankruptcy several months ago. While the courts are trying to figure out the mess, including criminal charges, nobody is really sure how this will all turn out. In the meantime for the past several weeks there has been so much static on our phone line that it is nearly impossible to use. Also, for the past few weeks we have been having a problem with our cable box which Innovative said is "fine". It is 2008. Should it be this difficult?

Saturday was the annual 8 Tuff Miles road race on St. John. The course runs from Cruz Bay to Coral Bay. It starts and ends at sea level but during the course of the race you have to climb to an elevation of nearly 1300 feet. What fun!
