Compliments, problems, questions, complaints? Call the Taxi Commission at (340) 776-8294, 8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday. If your call concerns a specific taxi, take note of license number. In fact, always take note of the taxi number. In case you leave something behind, it is easier for the Commission to trace. ST. THOMAS: Many taxis carry 8 to 12 passengers in vans and only these multi-destination vans service the Airport. Baggage handling fee usually applies and is at the DRIVERS DESCRETION. Negotiate this fee ahead of time. Waiting charges are 15 cents per minute after the first ten minutes. Suitcases are 50 cents each after the first one. Radio calls are one-third plus the base price.
